Outside of work, she really enjoy going to concerts with her husband, spending quality time with their 2 daughters & seeing their extended families. She loves painting, doing crafts with her girls, being outdoors with my family, watching scary movies, and overall just enjoying the little things in life.

Bonnie has been part of the Create A Legacy In Stone family since 2015. When not at work, she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, from running to skiing to boating, and spending time with her husband Hoobie, children Raija and Levi, son-in-law Greg, and grandchildren Che, Frankie, and Iver.

Brandon has been with Create a Legacy since 2015. Outside of his work as Chief Financial Officer, he served as Treasurer for MBNA (Monument Builders of North America) and enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and collecting sports cards. He likes to spend quality time with his friends and family, including his wife Vanessa and their three children Addison, Charlotte, and Sawyer.

Candy joined our team in the spring of 2024, bringing with her four years of experience as a skilled memorial designer. Outside of work, Candy’s world revolves around her three nearly grown sons and her boyfriend, with whom she shares a deep love for the outdoors and adventure. A true athlete at heart, she thrives on running, biking, swimming, snowboarding, hiking, camping, fishing, and tending her garden. When she’s not in motion, Candy pours her heart into serving others—volunteering at her church as an Orphan Prayer Partner, Teen Intercessory Prayer Partner, and a dedicated member of the Martha’s Meals outreach. Her energy, compassion, and dedication shine in everything she does.

Cay has served as a Memorial Consultant at Create A Legacy In Stone for over 20 years. She is active in her church community and enjoys spending time with her “coffee friends” and family. Cay adores her three grown children, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, and cherishes the memory of her late husband, to whom she was married for 59 years before his passing in 2013.

Chad has been with Create A Legacy since 2023. He enjoys enjoy spending time with his wife Cindy of over 33 years and their 3 adult children. He enjoys camping, fishing and taking daytrips around Minnesota. He am an avid dirt track race fan and have been attending races since he was 4 years old. He has been helping his brother-in-law as part of his pit crew for the past 25 years.

Charis has been with Create A Legacy In Stone since 2017 as a vital part of our Quality Control team. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, camping, snowmobiling, gambling, and spending as much time with her family and friends as possible. She has been married to her husband Rodney for 40 years and is a proud mother of two grown sons, Trevor and Cody, plus two “delightful, devoted” dogs, Kenai and Mr. Truffles.

Cindy has been a member of the Create A Legacy In Stone team since 2022. She loves to spend time with her husband of over 30 years and their three children. Their quality time together includes camping, walking, playing cards, and attending her brother-in-law’s dirt track races in which her husband is part of the pit crew.

Dan has been on Create A Legacy In Stone’s talented design team since 2010. When not at work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family at the lake, fishing, mountain biking, grilling/smoking meats, and trying to keep up with his boys and their sports schedules. Dan and his wife have been married for over a decade and share two sons, plus two Goldendoodles named Maynard and Teddy.

Dean brought his passion for people and storytelling to our team in 2024, stepping into the role of Memorial Sales Consultant after an inspiring 19-year career as a school teacher and six more years as an Activities Director. With over 25 years of experience guiding, mentoring, and connecting with others, Dean is a natural fit for helping families honor their loved ones. He and his wife, Allison—his partner of 27+ years—share a full and joyful life with their three sons. Whether cheering from the sidelines at their boys’ sporting events, relaxing at the lake, or singing along at concerts, the two make the most of their time together. Diehard Minnesota sports fans, Dean and Allison rarely miss a Vikings or Twins game, making game day a household tradition.

Don recently retired as Chairman and Owner and now serves in an advisory leadership role, helping guide the vision and values that have defined our company for generations. He’s especially proud of the culture built under his leadership — one that’s welcoming, genuine, and grounded in real care for people. Don believes the best teams are made up of real people being themselves, treating others with respect, and doing great work together.
Outside of work, Don loves the outdoors, taking the road less traveled, and live music under the open sky. A lifelong classic rock fan who bleeds purple, he and his wife Katie have been married for 43 years and share two children and five grandchildren. If you’re at a concert at the Ledge Amphitheatre, there’s a good chance you’ll spot Don and Katie enjoying the show — or even helping you find your seat.

JoAnn has worked as a Memorial Consultant at Create A Legacy In Stone since 2014. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, who taught her hobbies she never knew she would love, like fishing, turkey hunting, and an appreciation for how things work! Her hobbies also include antiquing and studying history. JoAnn finds joy in animals, nature, working with flowers, traveling to new places, and every sunrise and sunset.

Since 2005, Jon has flexed his creativity as a Memorial Designer for Create A Legacy In Stone. He finds fulfillment in designing memorial for different civic and veterans groups to honor their contributions to their communities. Outside of work, Jon’s family is the most important part of his life, and he enjoys spending time with them on road trips, around campfires, and on the golf course.

Stone is the family business for Josh, who has been with Create A Legacy In Stone since 2003 and whose wife works at Coldspring Granite. When not at work, Eagle Scout Josh enjoys working on old cars and spending time with his wife and their three children.

Willy started at the company in 2008, but has known Todd and Don since 1999. As President of Create A Legacy, Willy finds genuine joy and fulfillment in making sure the company consistently delivers the best customer experience possible. His favorite people are his wife Danielle and their three children, Isaac, Isabella (Izzy), and Jack. Outside of work, he’s passionate about living life to the fullest with the people he loves, which often includes ice fishing, cruising the lakes and fishing out of his boat, campfires, snowmobiling and four-wheeling. As if he wasn’t busy enough, Willy and his family also raise beef cattle, so he’s always up for conversations about tractors, farm machinery, and tinkering.

I’m the Marketing Lead and a Memorial Designer at Create A Legacy, a role I hold proudly. I began my journey in 2013 as a memorial designer and quickly discovered a passion for helping families create heartfelt, lasting tributes for their loved ones. Over time, I expanded my role to include Marketing Lead—a combination I love for the creativity, variety, and connection it brings every day.
I’ve been married to my husband, Kyle, for 14 years, and together we have two amazing children who keep us busy with all their activities and adventures. We live on a hobby farm where we raise beef cattle and have some laying hens.
Time spent with family and friends is what matters most to me. I love vacationing, sitting around a fire, exploring new places, and playing games with my kids and friends.

Kris has been with the Create A Legacy In Stone family since 2021. She takes a Jimmy Buffett-inspired approach to life (“Changes in Latitude, Changes in Attitude”) and loves to travel, take road trips, and spend time on the Chain of Lakes. Fittingly, music has always been a major part of her life, from attending concerts to collecting records. She has passed that love down to her two adult children, whom she shares with her husband of over 38 years. Both Kris’s children are married, and she enjoys looking after her kids’ dogs, Duke, Waylon, and Lucy. Finally, Kris is blessed with four grandchildren, one in Heaven, one here on Earth, and one on the way. She and her family are very excited to watch her grandchildren grow and to be a big part of their lives!

I have been married to my husband, Ryan, for 28 wonderful years. I’m a proud mom of four beautiful children and a very happy grandma to my sweet grandson, Wyatt. Outside of work, you’ll often find me in the garden, in the kitchen baking something delicious, or gathered around a table playing games with my family. Family is truly at the heart of everything I do, and I cherish every moment I get to spend with them.

Outside of work, my family & my faith are most important to me! I am enjoying all the {BUSY} phases of life with 6 kids ranging in ages 8 to 24yrs old PLUS one beautiful grandbaby. A joy-filled adventure would summarize life well for me. I enjoy nature, camping, laughing, quiet moments, photography and making memories with my loved ones!

Mary has been with Create A Legacy In Stone for over two decades. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time up north at the cabin and hunting shack, boating, taking side by side rides and being with her family and friends. She has been married to her husband, Dan, for over 35 years. They share two grown children, Jake and Megan, and are blessed with the addition of their spouses, Angela & Alex. Mary is also the proud grandmother to Bo and Gia.

Miranda has been a part of the Create A Legacy In Stone family since 2021. She is a proud wife and mother to four beautiful children. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband and kids, biking, baking, and playing games and cards.

Nicole’s experience in the monument industry includes 15 years as office manager of Memorial Park Cemetery before joining the Create A Legacy In Stone family as a Memorial Consultant for Duluth Monument Company in 2018. In 2025, Nicole’s role expanded to include Director of our Legacy Initiative Team. Outside of work, Nicole has been married for over 25 years, is a mother of two, and enjoys doing puzzles, crocheting, antiquing, movies, and hanging out with her family.

Raven have been a part of the Create A Legacy In Stone design team since 2015. She is passionate about being able to help families tell their unique stories in creative ways. In her free time, she enjoys all sorts of arts and crafts, bird watching, hiking, and spending time with her family and fur babies.

Royce joined us in 2023 as a Memorial Sales Consultant and quickly advanced to Legacy Project Director, managing large-scale projects like Veteran Memorials. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family at home and at the cabin. After the loss of his wife Melissa and their baby boy Levi, Royce continues to cherish their memory while raising their two children, Gus and Letty. He’s now engaged to Kelly, and together they’re raising a busy blended family. Royce has a passion for old cars, snowmobiling, dirt biking, building, and cooking. He’s also a proud member of the Ponto Knight Riders Snowmobile Club.

Scott Youngdahl serves as a Memorial Consultant at the Duluth branch. He values the consultative nature of the role, working closely with families to help them select a memorial that appropriately honors their loved one and reflects their life and legacy.
Each meeting is unique—some are emotional, others include moments of laughter—as every family brings a different story and personality to the process. These experiences make each day meaningful and distinct.
Scott has been married for more than 30 years and credits his wife as his better half. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting and fishing—particularly fishing—as well as spending time on carpentry and welding projects.

Tangie has been part of Create A Legacy In Stone since 2018 with background in manufacturing, quality control and now the past 3 years as a Memorial Consultant.
She is a proud wife and mother of 3 wonderful kids. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends playing cards and listening to music, hunting, fishing, and anything that involves the outdoors.

Combining technical oversight with hands-on manufacturing support, Timothy helps maintain reliable IT systems while contributing directly to precision production, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and dependable results.

Tony started with the company in 2007 as a shop employee, advanced to the cemetery lettering position in 2009 – 2022 and took the supervisor position in the spring of 2022. Currently he has 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl, they range in age from 7 to 21. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and archery hunting. He takes an annual winter vacation to Nevada fishing for giant cutthroat trout.
Two of his sons currently work for Create a Legacy as well.They make the 3rd generation of Richmond to work for this company with a combined 65 years’ experience between all three generations.

Todd has been with Create A Legacy In Stone for three decades, and has made telling stories in stone his life’s work. When he’s not at the office, Todd enjoys fishing, hunting, and simply hanging out with his amazing wife Jenae and their two rascals, Sam and Gabe.
